Women's Resolution
The peoples of Africa today find themselves at a crossroads, struggling to break the deadlock created by imperialist domination. In this respect, women are obliged to rise to the forefront to make the revolutionary alternative a credible and realistic way out. They make up the bulk of the population working for survival, and at the same time they are the majority of the victims of all these contradictions on the continent.
The women and the working class are duty-bound to rise up to the forefront to make a revolutionary alternative a credible and revolutionary way – out.
African women's organizations and personalities have long been part of the global grassroots women's movement. And the struggle for liberation. In so doing, they hope to take advantage of this space to exchange experiences of struggle at international level, in order to enhance the progressive current of women on the African Continent.
In the wake of the 3rd World Conference of Grassroots Women in Tunis, African women are determined to redouble their efforts to strengthen their capacity to influence and mobilize, with a view to attracting several women's associations to join them. The aim is to broaden the dynamic of grassroots women in Africa as much as possible. They are already preparing for the 4th African Conference to be held in the DRC, so as to be well prepared for the battle.
ICOR Africa condemns rape as a weapon in wars. Women continue to undergo in Africa, in the DRC, in Sudan, they suffer under mutilation.
ICOR Africa supports the heroic struggle and the resilience of African women in their struggle against capitalism, patriarchy and for liberation, equality in the struggle for the victory of socialism and communism.
That's why the ICOR-Africa Conference supports the dynamics of grassroots women in Africa, and calls for solidarity with them to ensure the success of the upcoming conference.
