Dear comrades,

Israel continues its war against Gaza with inhuman brutality and with the bombing of Rafah this war has reached a new level of genocide.

On Sunday, May 19th, the Palestinian BDS National Committee (BNC) will hold a Europe-wide demonstration against the mass murder in Gaza in Brussels. The slogan is: “End Israel's genocide – increase pressure to end the EU's complicity in the ongoing Nakba”.

“ICOR and United Front have committed themselves to intensify solidarity activities for the Palestinian liberation struggle. Also around the Nakba Day on May 15.” The ICOR General Coordinator has suggested a joint appearance of ICOR Europe.

Our presence in Brussels can make an important contribution to this. Therefore we ask you to check whether you can participate in this rally in Brussels and with which forces your organization can participate. We aim to mobilize a clearly visible block of ICOR comrades with ICOR flags. This also includes the distribution of the ICOR resolution “Support and strengthen the democratic and secular movements in the liberation struggle of the Palestinian people!” in different languages. (English – German – French). The ECC will try to register a speaker with the organizers. We ask the delegation of the MLPD to bring a mobile loudspeaker system so that an open microphone can be used during the demonstration with speeches and music.

The demonstration will start at 13.30 – as soon as we have more detailed information about the course, the demonstration route etc. we will inform you.

The meeting point for the ICOR organizations is at 1 pm, Brussels.

Solidary Greetings

European Coordinator

Joachim Griesbaum
