Zionist Israelis had already massacred seven hundred civilians by successively invading Lebanon after Palestinian Gaza. The Socialist Party of Bangladesh has organized a rally and protest march to urge an end to the genocide. Leaders of the SPB have called for Zionist Israel to be kicked out of the UN and for the belligerent leaders to stand justice in international courts for the bombings and genocide. SPB leaders issued this statement during a protest march in front of the National Press Club, Dhaka, and Capital City of Bangladesh today, September 28, 2024, at 4:30p.m. Comrade Nikhil Das, in charge of the SPB Dhaka Metropolitan Branch, presided over the rally. SPB Central Committee General Secretary Comrade Bazlur Rashid Firoz, SPB Dhaka Metropolitan Committee member Khalekuzzaman Lipon, Zakir Hossain, Nasir Uddin Prince, and Rokhasna Afroz Asha spoke, among others.Comrade Bazlur Rashid Firoz stated that the Zionist state known as Israel was established with the direct help of British-American imperialism by building an artificial state in the autonomous Palestinian land. This state was born out of the evil scheme to conquer and control the Middle East's oil resources. Today, the Palestinian people are a diaspora in their homeland. Zionists are encroaching on their homes and lands every day. Even though the entire world is denouncing the slaughter in Gaza, after razing Gaza to the ground and killing 48,000 people, they are now moving toward destroying Lebanon. People keep dying from constant bombardment as time is wasted in the name of cease-fire negotiations. Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, was slain in an attack on the organization's headquarters. Comrade Firoz expressed strong condemnation and outrage.With a look of anger in their eyes, the SPB leaders declared that while people all over the world are demanding an end to war and genocide, they are carrying out bombings and genocide in Lebanon with the support of Western imperialists, including the British and Americans. In this case, the Zionists asked that Israel be permanently banned from the UN and that all military leaders, including Netanyahu, be put on trial for genocide at the International Tribunal right away. They asked the international community and the UN to acknowledge and declare Palestine an independent sovereign state at the same time. After the rally, a protest march circled the streets.
