International Anti-Imperialist United Front Against Fascism, War and Environmental Destruction

In a joint resolution of December 2023, the co-presidents of the United Front, Edithluz Castro and Monika Gärtner-Engel, already declared:

„We strongly condemn the heinous aggression of the Zionist state of Israel aimed at the expulsion or annihilation of the Palestinian people in Gaza. It is supported by leading imperialist countries such as the USA and Germany in the context of inter-imperialist competition.

This war must end immediately and all Israeli troops must be withdrawn! The imperialist perpetrators must pay compensation to the Palestinian people and fully accept their right to a free Palestine!“

The suffering of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is growing immeasurably every day. According to the WHO, one in six children under the age of two in the northern Gaza Strip is "acutely malnourished". Zionist Israel is preventing aid flotillas with urgently needed food and medicine from reaching the Gaza Strip. While families and children in Gaza starve, Israel leaves behind military detonators that look like small cans of food. This is hard to beat in terms of contempt for humanity. Willfully starving the population in the Gaza Strip to death is a method of exterminating the Palestinian people!

In the so-called "flour massacre", Israel shot at people gathering around the distribution of aid supplies. 118 people died and 760 were injured. Zionist Israel claimed that it had not fired into the crowd, that the people were merely crushed in the mass panic. This is an evil cover-up that blames the starving masses themselves for the massacre. Investigations have now revealed that bullets of NATO weapons used by the Israeli army were found in the dead bodies. Since then, more and more aid has been dropped from the air. The dropped goods are no real help because this is far too small an amount. The method of air-dropping also provokes fights over the distribution, which are then defamed as gang wars. This is chaotic, expensive and dangerous. Huge boxes whose parachutes do not open have already killed people.

EU foreign affairs representative Josep Borrell accurately described the starving out of the population in the Gaza Strip as a „tool of war“, and he demanded that the UN Security Council condemn this tool of war in Gaza, as it had in the case of Ukraine. If this had been meant honestly, then the EU and USA would have to stop all financial and military support for Israel immediately. No more weapons, no more funding for the Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people!

The threat of war also increases with the intervention of NATO and other forces in the South Red Sea through the shelling of cargo ships by the Huthi organization. Our protest against the arson of war in the region through NATO remains unaffected by this.

The Consultative Committee of the United Front demands:

For an immediate end to the occupation of Palestinian territory by Zionist Israel! For the immediate withdrawal of Israeli military units!

Stop the starving out of the Palestinian people as part of a developing genocide!

Immediate access of aid flotillas to the Gaza Strip!

For a determined support of the Palestinian liberation struggle, especially by the peoples from the Arab countries!

It calls on the anti-imperialist forces of the world:

Let us organize solidarity with the Palestinian people all over the world - for example with broad protest actions on 15 May, Nakba Day, under the slogan “Today we are all Palestinians!“

Strengthen the anti-imperialist forces in the world - strengthen the United Front!
