The medical teams of Al-Awda Hospital – Tal Al-Zaatar held the  press conference at the headquarters of the General Administration of the Awda Health and Community Association in Gaza City, following their forced evacuation from the hospital — the last operational medical facility in northern Gaza.

The conference aimed to shed light on the scale of violations suffered by both medical staff and patients, and to send a message to the world: the targeting of medical facilities will not silence the voice of humanity nor break the will to persevere.

The medical teams affirmed that what occurred constitutes a crime against the healthcare sector. Nevertheless, they vowed to continue their humanitarian mission in other locations despite all challenges. They emphasized: “Al-Awda will remain… Even if we are forced out of the walls, we will not leave the field.”

ICOR, condemns firmly these violations and attacks against Alawda and consider that the evacuation of nedical teams is a war crime and a crime against humanity.

ICOR reconfirms it's solidarity with Alawda and engage to continue the implementation of the solidarity pact with Alawda and the solidarity campaign of donations to rebuild Alawda Hospital.
