With a renewed ground offensive, the fascist Netanyahu government has unleashed a new wave of genocide against the Palestinians in Gaza. In Jabalia, at least 19 people were killed when a UNRWA hospital was bombed. A convoy of ambulance workers was murdered and buried with the help of excavators. The power supply has been cut since 9 March. With the advance into Rafah and the demagogic declaration of “security zones”, which are death zones for Palestinians, the occupation of the entire Gaza Strip is being intensified and life there is becoming more and more unbearable.

The USA is the main instigator and architect of the barbaric attacks of Israel on Gaza. US President Donald Trump calls for the Palestinian people to leave Gaza and to leave the Palestinian ground to the USA in order to build a vacation and tourist region there. That can by no means be accepted.

We must not allow a new Nakba to happen! In accordance with the resolutions of the 5th World Conference, the ICC of the ICOR calls upon all ICOR organizations and all friends of the Palestinian people worldwide to organize powerful protests all over the world on Nakba Day, 15 May. The ICC will carry out a whole series of events around Nakba Day, including panel discussions, protests, solidarity and cultural festivals. In Berlin, we will take part in protests in solidarity with the people of Gaza with a public rally, where we will strongly condemn the support of Israel by the German government and other Western governments.
