Children and young people suffer the most from Israel's genocide against the Palestinians. More than half of the population of Gaza are children and young people. The Israeli army is destroying their homes, food supplies and health care. Many of the at least 60,000 people killed are children and young people. The Israeli army is also systematically destroying schools and kindergartens.

The Ghassan Kanafani Education Center organizes educational programs and tutoring, but also programs to support the cognitive and emotional development of children, cultural activities and, where possible, literacy programs for adults. This work gives them stability and perspective, as far as this is possible in the midst of war.

The ICOR has decided to support the Ghassan Kanafani Education Center with urgently needed 3,000 euros and is asking for donations. If the donation target is exceeded, donations will also go to the Al-Awda Health Community Association.
