Freedom for Prisoners of Palestine and Prisoners for Palestine!

ICOR Middle East,

The struggle for the liberation of Palestine has become a struggle for the liberation of all humanity from imperialism, colonialism, and barbarism. Across the world, peoples have raised their voices against the genocide and occupation in Palestine, taking to the streets with kuffiyahs and Palestinian flags and standing firmly against oppression. Yet this genocide has not ended with ceasefire agreements. It continues in every sphere of life in Palestine, most brutally within Israeli prisons, which function as systematic centers of torture and repression under Zionism.

Palestinian prisoners are deprived of even the most basic human rights and are subjected to starvation, severe torture, and systematic campaigns of psychological and physical destruction. They are exposed to sexual abuse and rape; not only their bodies but their dignity is under attack. The torture regime of the Zionist occupation is a system of brutality that tramples on human dignity.

In many countries, mass repression and police violence against movements in solidarity with Palestine reflect the global support for Zionism, above all by Western imperialism.

Acting out of a profound sense of human responsibility, Palestine Action activists destroyed Israeli military drones and equipment belonging to Elbit Systems, one of Israel’s leading arms suppliers, in Filton, England, in August 2024. Instead of stopping the crimes of the arms industry, the British state responded with severe repression. Activists known as the “Filton 24,” along with the “Brize Norton 5,” accused of damaging the Brize Norton Royal Air Force base in central England, were detained, imprisoned, and branded as “terrorists.”

Held for months without trial, these activists have been subjected to censorship, communication bans, humiliation, and denial of adequate medical care. In protest against these conditions, and in defense of the just cause of Palestine, Palestine Action prisoners launched a hunger strike that ended in a victory.

We will never remain silent in the face of repression. We call on people across the world to take action for Palestinian prisoners. On January 31, the global day of action for prisoners’ freedom, and on April 17, Palestinian Prisoners’ Day, we call on everyone to take to the streets for the freedom and dignity of all prisoners.

End sexual violence, torture, and isolation!
Down with the rapist Zionist regime!

Freedom for Palestine Action prisoners and for all those imprisoned for Palestine!

Freedom for Ahmad Sa’adat, Marwan Barghouti, and all Palestinian prisoners!
Freedom for Palestine!
